No cookies are set by this site

This website sets no cookies: no profiling cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising or tracking tools, and no audience measurement of any kind.

Two things do run in your browser, and we describe both below so that the statement above is not read as broader than it is: a single technical value in local storage, and — on the contact page only — an anti-abuse widget provided by a third party. The second one is loaded only if you consent to it.

Your choice, and how to change it

On your first visit a banner asks whether you agree to the anti-abuse protection described below. Accepting and refusing are offered as two equivalent choices, nothing is pre-ticked, and refusing leaves the whole site fully usable.

Your choice is recorded in your browser (see local storage below) and can be changed at any time from the “Consent preferences” link in the footer of every page. If we ever change what we ask consent for, the banner appears again: a past choice is never stretched to cover a new purpose.

Local storage (technical, not cookies)

The site stores a single value in your browser’s local storage, named ps-lang, which remembers your language preference (Italian or English). On your first visit, and only if no preference has been stored yet, the site reads the language declared by your browser in order to open the version of the site in your language; that reading is not stored and is not used for any other purpose.

A second value, ps-consent, records the choice you made in the consent banner, together with the date and the version of the request. Without it we could not remember a refusal, and you would be asked again on every page.

Both values are strictly functional, never leaves your device, contains no personal data and no identifier, and are exempt from the consent requirement pursuant to Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the ePrivacy Directive (strictly necessary technical storage). You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Anti-spam protection on the contact form

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving anti-bot verification service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. The widget is loaded only if you have consented to it, and even then only on the contact page and only when the form scrolls into view: without your consent, no request whatsoever reaches Cloudflare. Once loaded it performs a technical verification in your browser; it is used to tell a human apart from an automated request, not to build advertising profiles. It is a security measure protecting the service from abuse, and it runs on the basis of your consent. More information in Cloudflare’s privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

If you refused, the contact form remains fully usable: when you send it we explain that the check is needed and ask whether to enable it just for that, and your message goes out as soon as the check passes. You can also simply write to info@mypowerset.com.

Server logs

The infrastructure serving this site (Amazon CloudFront) produces standard technical access logs (requested URL, date and time, IP address, user agent), used exclusively for security and operational purposes and never to profile visitors. They are automatically deleted 90 days after they are written.

The contact form

What you type in the contact form is delivered to us as an e-mail message; it is not stored in a database and is not used to build any marketing list. How that data is processed, on what legal basis and for how long, is described in the privacy policy.

Third-party links

Pages of this site link to external services (the Powerset platform, app stores, social networks). Those services apply their own cookie and privacy policies once you visit them.
